Kziv stream to Rosh Ha-nikra
Down the beautiful valley of Kziv stream, by the Montfort fortress, to the coast and Rosh Ha-nikra
The Kziv stream is one of the biggest and most beautiful streams in the Galilee, it starts from the Meron mountains and flows into the sea by Nahariya, the northernmost city in israel. In its valley grows a beautiful, dense, ever green Mediterranean maquis.
In this tour we will starts by Mizpe Hilla (near Ma'alot) and roll down the stream, passing by the , impressive ruins of the crusader Montfort fortress, to Aczive beach. From there we will continue north along the coast, up to Rosh Ha-nikra, a white chalk cliff face which opens up into spectacular grottos.
Note: The tour includes a few rather steep down hill phases, and not suitable for beginners.
